2021 -What Still Works (In Queer, Pleasurable Ways)

Kate McKinnon interviews Rep. Greene (Cecily Strong), a GameStop investor (Pete Davidson), Jack Dorsey (Mikey Day), Mark Zuckerberg (Alex Moffat), O.J. Simps...

After an arduous 2020, I’m taking stock early this year of what still works in my life (inspired by deLicious Kate McKinnon led video above). Here’s a working list-

  1. My ‘radical, lyrical, explorative, non-linear journey’ aka intersectional magic & migratory skills. (I’m in Texas queering up January - February and appreciating every moment of southern warmth, wildness, family and friendship.)

  2. Opening myself up to High Vibes Libes. The books keep coming and coming, and giving and giving

  3. My strong back and soft front practice

  4. Daily Study is Sexy- right now I’m all about queer economics 101

  5. Generative Conflict

  6. Plants (and the pleasures they lend in my mouth)

  7. Life as a letter writing artist

  8. De-centering my whiteness everyday

  9. Flirt, tenderize heart, learn to be more vulnerable. Repeat!

  10. Remembering Queer, Qweirdo, Wyrd, Weirdo love, magic, poetic brilliance is everywhere-and has been/will be forever.
